Who We Are

PipeSizeCalculator.com is a free online tool providing trade calculators for plumbers, electricians, builders and DIY enthusiasts. The site is operated independently by an individual developer. It is not affiliated with any manufacturer, trade body or professional engineering organisation.

What Data Is Processed

We do not intentionally collect personal data directly from users through forms, accounts or analytics. We do not require registration or login. We do not store any calculations you perform on this site. However, our hosting provider and third-party services may process limited technical data such as IP addresses and browser information necessary to operate the website. IP addresses may constitute personal data under GDPR and are processed solely for security and performance purposes.

Hosting & Third-Party Services

Netlify — our hosting and infrastructure provider. Netlify may automatically collect server log data including IP addresses, browser type, device type, pages visited and timestamps. This data is processed by Netlify under their own privacy policy: netlify.com/privacy.

Google Fonts — used to load typography. When fonts are requested, your IP address may be logged by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. If you prefer, you can block font requests in your browser without affecting calculator functionality.

Cookies

This site does not set any first-party cookies for tracking or analytics. Netlify may set strictly necessary technical cookies required to deliver the service. Google Fonts may set cookies when loading fonts. No advertising, profiling or tracking cookies are used on this site.

The limited technical data processed through our hosting infrastructure is processed on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, the secure and reliable delivery and maintenance of this website. This processing is limited to what is strictly necessary for technical operation.
